India's government capped cancer drug prices this week after a court branded existing mark-ups 'extortion,' following a 2022 case brought by a retired bank clerk who could not afford her medicine. I set the card in 2035 so low-cost generic manufacturing and distribution have had a decade to scale across the country. The picture shows the outcome as a well-stocked local pharmacy where affordable cancer medicines sit within easy, ordinary reach.
