Why this card
The news story is the new certification scheme encouraging solar developers to build genuine wildlife habitat alongside clean energy. I chose 2036 because a decade is enough for a certification standard to shift from pilot scheme to common practice. The picture shows the outcome from the air: a solar farm doubled as a wildflower meadow, with hedgerows and a pond, so panels and pollinators share the fields.
