Why this card
NPR reports that a rare family of barn owls has nested in a water tower on Manhattan's Upper West Side, to the delight of New Yorkers. I chose 2036 because about ten years is a believable span for building owners and the city to fit nest boxes on old rooftop towers and cut back on rat poison that harms owls. The picture shows a whole block of water towers turned into owl homes, with owls hunting over the rooftops at midnight.
