Borneo rainforest, Malaysia · 2034 (8 years ahead) · orangutan habitat restoration · soft watercolor painting, lush greens and golden light, gentle wildlife illustration
Why this card
This card is based on the orangutan rescue and release story from the Borneo wildfires. I chose 2034 (eight years ahead) as a reasonable timeframe for meaningful but believable forest regeneration. The image shows the successful outcome: young forest that has recovered from fire damage, with orangutans reintroduced and thriving in their restored habitat.
