The city grew a wild ring and walked it daily.
Outer London green ring · 2038 (12 years ahead) · urban rewilding · linocut illustration, midday greens and cream
Why this card
The Positive News story reports a plan to reconnect London's wilder edge spaces for ten million people. I set the card in 2038 to give new meadows, woods and wetlands time to establish. The aerial linocut shows the finished ring as ordinary daily countryside, walked and cycled, not a proposal map.
