Why this card
Mongabay reports that tea growers on Taiwan's Alishan mountains are letting native vegetation reclaim their rows to cope with climate pressure. Because these ecological shifts unfold over decades, I set the card in 2045. The picture shows restored forest, wildflowers, birds, and butterflies woven through still-productive tea terraces: resilience that came from letting nature back in.
