For the first time in a generation, London's streets know how to shine up.
London, UK — Camden district · 2036 (10 years ahead) · dark skies · vintage travel poster, teal and gold, geometric design, night photography
Why this card
This card is inspired by the dark skies festival that celebrates the restoration of night visibility over UK urban areas. The year 2036 was chosen because it gives time for widespread implementation of dark-sky friendly street lighting and policy changes. The image shows the outcome: a city where streets no longer wash out the stars, and people can look up together in shared awe.
