The morning hop to orbit leaves on time, like the ferry.
Cornwall's Atlantic coast · 2041 (15 years ahead) · spaceplane travel · engraved woodcut, indigo, cream and apricot
Why this card
The news seed is an agreement to fly spaceplanes on regular routes from Cornwall. By 2041, that idea has matured into routine, affordable suborbital hops, a coastal ferry made vertical, letting ordinary families and students take a short trip above the atmosphere and back while giving Cornish port towns a new trade. The picture shows the everyday consequence: a calm morning queue at a sea-mist spaceport, not a research milestone.
