Mongabay reports that tea growers in Taiwan's Alishan mountains are letting wild plants and natural processes back onto their farms as climate pressures mount. Fourteen years gives a farming practice time to spread from a few growers to whole hillsides. The picture shows a tea slope grown back into a mixed, living forest edge, with birds and insects sharing it with the picker.
