Why this card
Today's news reports that researchers have found a new form of carbon, diamondiyne. By 2041, about fifteen years on, a discovery like this has had time to move from the lab into textbooks and classroom kits. The picture shows children building the newcomer next to graphite and diamond, as an ordinary part of learning what carbon can be.
