Why this card
Scientists have rediscovered how to make the color-changing glass associated with the ancient Roman Lycurgus Cup. Fifteen years allows time for the technique to move from laboratory reconstruction into small craft workshops, without assuming mass production. Ordinary dishes casting extraordinary light show a recovered skill becoming useful and familiar.
