Why this card
India moved to cut the price of cancer drugs after a court called the mark-ups extortion, in a case brought by a patient who couldn't afford her medicine. Six years gives a price cap time to reach ordinary pharmacies far from big hospitals. The picture shows an older woman collecting her medicine at a rainy-season chemist's counter for two coins, her purse still nearly full.
