A pinch of Phobos, held gently for everyone.
Curation lab in Sagamihara · 2036 (10 years ahead) · Mars moon dust · hand-drawn scientific plate, ink and rust
Why this card
Japan is launching the world-first MMX mission to bring home 10g of dust from Phobos. I chose 2036 to allow the five-year flight plus years of careful lab study. The plate shows the outcome as shared knowledge: the tiny grains preserved, magnified and drawn for anyone to study.
