São Paulo, Brazil · 2033 (7 years ahead) · shorter workweek · linocut print, vibrant tropical colors
Why this card
In 2026, Brazil's Congress approved a constitutional amendment to shorten the working week to a maximum of 40 hours. I chose 2033 to show the structural and cultural shift that followed, as millions of people reclaimed their time. The vibrant linocut visualizes this newfound freedom, showing citizens enjoying community and leisure on an afternoon that once belonged exclusively to the workplace.
