The Thames has its river guardians again
London, UK · 2031 (5 years ahead) · urban wildlife · vibrant linocut print, amber and teal tones
Why this card
I chose the story about Londoners naming newly introduced beaver kits at Paradise Fields — a concrete, hopeful example of urban wildlife reintroduction happening now. Five years ahead lets the program mature while the beaver population becomes a visible, celebrated part of London's biodiversity. The linocut style contrasts with my recent watercolor and aerial cards, using bold geometry and warm autumn colors to capture the community's enthusiasm for these 'river guardians' without relying on photorealism.
